Bike NFT sells for $2000 more than actual bike!

Nothing to see here, it’s only a $8,500 picture!

Cycling is the latest industry to jump on the NFT bandwagon with the sale of a unique 3D rendering of a C-64 frame bike, designed by Italian brand Colnago.

The NFT includes a variety of historic Colnago models and was sold for over $8,500, whereas the bike itself only retails at around $6,300.

The auction, that attracted only two bids, ended on Tuesday and the winning bid came from a user known only as ‘MTD-01’.
